Routley signs with Accent.Jobs-Wanty

Category: Cycling

Former Canadian road champion Will Routley has signed with the Belgian Pro Continental team Accent.Jobs-Wanty. The rider earlier thought he would race for the Spidertech squad next year, but the team has since announced that it wouldn't have a team in 2013.

Routley joins Davy Commeyne (Landbouwkrediet-Euphony), Jans Roy (An Post Sean Kelly) and sprinter Danilo Napolitano (Acqua e Sapone). Former trainees Benjamin Verraes and Tim De Troyer are also new in the team.

Routley was Canadian champion in 2010, but has also taken second place in the 2011 Tro-Bro Léon and third on a stage of the Ruta del Sol this year. He finished ninth overall in the Tour of Turkey.
