The Italian sprinter Francesco Chicchi will join the Androni Giocattoli team. He has signed for one year.

Chicchi, who is a former U23 world champion, has spent the last two seasons with the Vini Fantini team. During those years, he has taken victories in races like the Vuelta a Venezuela and Tour de Langkawi. During his career, he has also won Nokere Koerse, and stages at the Tour of Qatar, Tour of California and Tour Down Under.
